If, like some of us, your looking to land a new and exciting tech job this year, where exactly are your best chances? According to Forbes and top economists the best cities to search are as follows:
Jacksonville, Florida .....a shining city on the coast
There are actually four cities in Florida with great promise for job seekers. Deltona {NE of Orlando and close to Cape Canaveral}, Cape Coral and Fort Myers, Tampa and Jacksonville are claiming the top four spots on 'The Best Cities for Jobs' list in 2019.
They are posting net employment outlooks of 37% to 29%.
Raleigh, NC is attracting tech talent with companies like Google and Microsoft setting up shop in North Carolina's capital.
California's San Jose and San Francisco are still looking strong in 2019 holding the No. 7 and No. 10 slot anticipating 26% and 23% outlooks for employment in the tech industry.
In most metro areas, the chances of finding a good job in 2019 have increased overall.
The top 95 metro areas in the country have a strengthening outlook at both a micro and macro level with leverage shifting to employees.
